Authenticism

I went to a cat show today. I love cats and I’m not ashamed to admit it. In addition to seeing a bunch of cats I never knew existed, it was also really inspiring to see people so passionate about something. I know, I know, cat ladies are crazy and yes, some of them really do live up to that stereotype, but in a world full of growing apathy and impatience, it’s refreshing to see people care so much. I think I may have already talked about this blog before, but I just want to reiterate how much I love Jon Rafman’s 9-Eyes.

I didn’t know what the NFB was either, but somehow my random internet wanders led me to this site chock full of interactive content, random documentaries, and basically, hours of entertainment. Check it out here.

Out My Window calls itself a non-linear documentary. I call it a voyeur’s dream. The documentary features apartments in high rises all across the world complete with the inhabitants’ stories, decorating sense, and views. Check out the website here.
